Statement

I found real inspiration in my landscapes or portraits in the direct, or alla prima oil painting method. This method puts you in a brutal, earnest conversation with nature, where from time to time it reveals secrets and shows hidden treasures. At home, in my studio, I transform these pieces of conversation into stories about a person and reflections of nature in his/her eyes.
